I come from a family of talented home cooks where good food, family and gathering for meals have always been priorities in my life. I’ve always been inspired by the people I’m around and the places I’ve traveled, replicating favorites dishes I’ve tasted in amazing restaurants and homes around the world.

Once I had my children, cooking took on a new meaning. Making nutritious but delicious meals a whole family will love can be challenging. It’s never easy to cook for varying tastes and opinions! My goal was to make our meals look as good as they tasted to convince young eyes to try everything.

As I’ve gotten older, health and wellness are a bigger priority in my life than ever before. This has obviously influenced my nutritional choices as gut health has become a huge factor in my health journey. After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I became determined to keep inflammation at bay and this disease inactive. I avoid gluten, lectins, sugar, and other disruptors that interfere with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

The recipes you’ll find here are meant to nourish the gut and help reduce inflammation but also look appetizing and taste delicious! As a working mom, I understand cooking healthy meals must work into my busy schedule. My recipes are easy and time saving, making it effortless to cook nourishing meals. I believe healthy eating doesn’t have to sacrifice the taste or the glamor of the dining experience. These dishes look and taste so good, you’ll never miss what’s missing!
